Larry,

I installed the new driver per your instructions. Now everything works like
a champ.

Thanks,

Software that does not work with my converter:

MapPOint 2001 and Streets and Trips 2001 Do not find the proper COM port # under Windows ME. Reported by John Milton on 3/27/2001. This problem is not a general problem with my USB-DB9M or GPS's or Windows but appears to be only with the program named MapPoint-2001 and Streets-and-Trips-2001. A full explanation is here! It's possible it's OK with Windows 2000, if you know, please let us know. W2K lets you configure the COM port # so it may fix the problem?
