I got lazy and have started putting more than one days status per page here. The old stuff is at the bottom so if you are doing a positive time progression go to the bottom and read up!

Tuesday: 23JAN96 ---- I GOOFED!

We shipped most of the orders with "OK" pins, however, we ran out of OK pins and started using the "fatter" ones, not suspecting that the pins could possibly be different than all the others. We guess the last 40 that were shipped got the "too big pins", mostly to Canada and overseas.... sorry guys.

The fix is drill out the holes to the correct size... a #51 drill (0.067 inch, 1.7mm for the real world). It works real good. Also, now that I actually tried making a few, daaaah, I notice the center hole of the main body is not too cool, .... while you have your #51 drill spinning, run it through the center hole too... it makes assembly lots easier.

Good luck, and I'll be glad to send you a new connector body to anyone who wants... sorry for the mix up... If I just built a few BEFORE shipping everything, this would not have happened.

We will drill all from now on, so you don't have to.

Monday: 22JAN96

Everything is shipped! ... except what was requested today (about 5 more). I noticed accesses to the page at 54. ... what next guys? Oh, the international orders are going via slow boat snail mail, I'll be very interested in how long it takes! So let me know. .... I made some updates to the Bean counting page..re: costs, ect.

Here is the back room mess but notice the box of mailers full of free connectors, ready to go to the post office. Ardel took about a hundred in today. I'm very happy today... I bought IBM Tuesday at 84. It is now 103! I will sell it when it is 333. Then I'll ship free GPS's! Stay tuned in.

Got a very nice e-mail from John at All-Outdoors, Canada. I shipped a bunch of free connectors to Canada, so you cool guys up there who like the cool outdoors should check out John's cool page.

Is the Casio Digital camera cool? ... I need an easier way to get photos to you guys, my old clunky camcorder + snappy is OK but kind of a pain. I just want to point and click, connect and click, click, click, type, click, done.... back to work.

A mailing list of 145 requests was printed and we are packaging FREE CONNECTORS! USA costs 55 cents postage, CANADA is 52 cents! (Go figure), International: 1/2oz=$0.60, + $0.40 per additional 1/2oz....
