Try it, you'll like it! ... and thank you Mr. Fukuro! -- I think someone someday will start a peoples map of the globe, that is free and maintained by ordinary people for free, or almost-free, supported by micro-money.

  • G A R M A N . . I N C ! ! ! the official page. It arrived in December 1996. Sure is a great product! I've owned a 45, III, eMap, and eTrex. Way to go Garmin. Garmin employee number 11 was one of our Pfrancs for a few years! I like the company so much I'm now a share holder. Buy a Garmin GPS, then buy some stock too...GRMN, then you'll own a great GPS and the company that made it! - - - - - Update: 11/2006, I wrote the above words about Garmin ten years ago. I bought shares at $16, $18, $24, ... and more in the $30's, $40's etc... then when it got up over $100/share it split 2:1 and started paying dividends. So now I'm really old but with the dividends can afford to buy all the new cool things Garmin comes out with like the new nuvi-660 for $1000! See my nuvi-660 demo here . Take a lesson young people. BTW, Larry says the next winner will be NAVTEQ (NVT) will be a bigger winner than Garmin, up there in the Google class!
