We are very sad to learn, February 2007, Dr. Ulf Matthiesen, Pfranc of Switzerland since 1998, has died. Ulf was Pfranc for 10 years and brought honor to our group and to Switzerland. He once said he would check his email up to 288 times a day. He greeted everyone on his Pfranc page here with: "Grüezi (oder einfach Hallo)" and like all Pfrancs signed off with "Thanks" and "Zeit für ein Bier!". I will post more here in memory of Ulf. Larry,
I just visited your site 
and was very sad and shocked 
to hear of Ulf's death in 
February. I was doubly shocked 
as I had last had a mail from 
him on 30th January..
He ended that mail with:
   "...
     Mybest (stolen from Larry, 
             but I like it ;-) )
     Ulf "

I had several pfranc bits 
from him here in Switzerland 
and he was always so friendly,
 helpful and kind. 
What a shame.
I look forward to reading 
more in his memory - that 
will be a nice touch.

Hi Larry, my name is:  Matthias, I am German.
I purchased many hundreds of your 
P-plugs from Ulf since several years.
I must say that I was deeply shocked 
to learn that this hyper friendly man
has left us. He became a friend to my
wife and me. We had visited him many
times in Switzerland. What happened to
him? Accident? He had never mentioned
that he was ill. I am very sad.
