P812M | This cable supplies power to a pD8 cable or pD32 cable. Inside the cigarette lighter plug is a 8 Volt switching power supply that provides 300mA and stays cool. Cable length: 4 inches. Gold pins everywhere, even the CLP contacts. The 8 volts is attached to pin 6 and the unregulated 12 Volts is connected to pin 9. Our pD8 Data PowerReady cable connects pin 6 to the GPS power pin and our pD32 cable attaches pin 9. So you see that this power inserter will work for both cables without switches.
